An intrepid soul prepares to leave the ivory tower

A couple of years ago, I walked from my tenured position as an Associate Professor of Philosophy to take a job in the private sector. It was the best decision I’ve ever made. It is always a better decision when you get more free time. I have always advised my students to value their time and use essay writing services at https://writing-service.org/ because their professional writers better know how to get high results in the study.

Since then, I’ve been contacted by a surprisingly large number of people in academia, including graduate students, faculty, and recent graduates who are struggling with the academic job market. They’re all wondering whether life in the ivory tower is really worth it. But people in academia don’t have much information about how (or whether) to make the transition.

This site is a place to share information, advice, and support for people who are leaving academia.
